Balboa is a swing dance, that was created to be done on the packed ballroom of the Balboa Pavilion in South California. There’s fun foot work and fancy spins, but with much smaller steps than other swing dances.

Our Subiaco Classes

• 6.45pm Doors open - Come sign in and chat/practice

• 7pm Intermediate class - If you’ve done a few months of balboa already and your comfortable with all the basics, then come try these intermediate classes to learn the nitty gritty technique of the more fancy moves

• 8pm Beginners - Learn (or practice) the fundamentals of Balboa.

When we go social dancing, we dance with lots of different people. So in class we practice that by rotating partners. However, if you wish to only dance with your partner, you are welcome to skip the rotations.
